Emerald Coast Area

The area known as the Emerald Coast has been a great family destination for decades. Over the last decade, the Emerald Coast has undergone massive growth, with an increasing number of developments - house, condominiums, and resorts - business, and visitors. The Emerald Coast is comprised of several major cities and towns, that are well known tourist areas: Destin, Okaloosa Island, Ft. Walton Beach, Sandestin, Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Panama City, and Pensacola.

The beauty of the Emerald Coast is magnified not only by the cool, green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, but the soft, white sandy beaches. Boasted simply as “The Beach”, the Emerald Coast offers more activities, watersports, shopping, dining, and luxury living in its 100 mile stretch of white beaches, than nearly anywhere else in the world.

Destin

About Destin Florida

Destin is a quiet resort and fishing town located in the pristine Florida Panhandle. Destin began as small fishing village providing great access to deep sea fishing. The humble town was once, and probably still known as the 'World's Luckiest Fishing Village.' Destin has since grown and developed to become a tourist resort town, with fishing still as an important activity and industry, but taking full advantage of the expansive Florida coastline.
The 100 Fathom Curve draws closer to Destin than any other spot in Florida providing the quickest deep-water access on the Gulf. Mutiple beach access points present the spectacular dark emerald water and snow white sands famous to the Florida Panhandle. Destin and the Emerald Coast area have quickly grown into one of America's premier vacation destinations.
- USA Today voted Destin number one for beach destinations 5 years in a row.-
Activities and accommodations are abundant in Destin. Several world class chain and independent hotels operate throughout the area.
Small but first class restaurants provide fine dining and local cruise lines with SunQuest Cruises offering an evening or weekend exploring the dark water of the Emerald Coast.
Many golf courses operate year round providing a broad range of challenges to all skill levels as well as a backdrop of breathtaking scenery. Other activities include deep sea fishing, scuba and deep sea diving, and dolphin cruises, spotting the many wild creatures in the calm harbors and open seas. Beach condos and vacation homes offer short and long term accomodations, equally as many for permanent residence. And that number is growing all the time.
Destin, Florida is a small but growing resort town, accessible to all, young and old. It is a quiet town that has carefully and proactively managed it's growth and heritage while maintaining the beautiful environment, the water, sand and sea.

Seaside

Seaside Real Estate

Seaside real estatePerhaps The New York Times said it best: “...a place with no chain businesses of any kind, pristine brick streets with big pedestrian-friendly sidewalks, green spaces, multicolored houses and white picket fences". Welcome to Seaside.”

It is highly unlikely that you will find a community that underwent more thoughtful planning than the community of Seaside. So effective was the town planning that it has become known as the ‘New Urbanism’ or ‘Seaside Style’.
Seaside style has been described as the luxury of simplicity, natural and timeless. Think of yourself languishing on a hammock under the wide overhang of your sheltered porch as the warm ocean breezes threaten to rock you to sleep. It’s all about a comfortable elegance, white cotton and muted colors, its more than style, it’s a way of life, a way of being.
The main attraction to Seaside real estate is the one half mile of pristine beachfront. The beach at Seaside has been designated as a ‘Blue Wave Beach’ by the Clean Beach Council. The Blue Wave is an environmental certification that recognizes responsible beach management practices including water quality, beach and intertidal conditions, safety, services, habitat conservation, public education and erosion management. Visitors and citizens of Seaside can often be seen frequenting the grand beach pavilions that provide an entrance to this unspoiled and revered piece of nature.

Seagrove

When wandering about town you get a sense of the pride that Grayton Beach citizens have for their community. At every turn gardens sprouting bouquets of azaleas, camellias, butterfly gardens and other incredible blooms assault the senses and provide a respite in your daily routine.
Overlooking the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, with thick pine and hardwood soaring from the inland forests, Grayton Beach is one of the most beautiful and safe communities on the Emerald Coast.
